The nurses are great - But when An Er Doctor sends you home with a Very high blood pressure - it's crazy and when the CNY cardiology department does nothing to investigate the cause of Months of High Blood pressure averaging 180/110 - Then you know it's not safe to go to those places . Since June I've had cardiac Symptoms- and since July have had several med Changes - And the very high blood pressure has made Last year - I had an allergic reaction to something- as they were rolling me out of the Er heading for the observation room up on a floor. They asked me in transit if I wanted to be resuscitated?!! I'm said why and the nurse s said well because there is only one doc in the ER . I said Yes Please id like a Jump start The Docs Act like they know everything but Don't even Know How To " PRACTICE ". Its embarrassing to have to need an eR and know LCGH is the closest one to get to . They have no compassion don't have common sense to quickly evaluate. They don't listen to everything you tell them and then after seeing a CNY Doc a few times - Not one Doctor has done what they should be doing . I'm speaking up bc No One has done Extensive testing to find the cause. And given I've had a carotid Brain Aneurysm with a stent and coils .... you'd think after weeks of throwing pills at me - changing them , Someone would be serious and Do their Job before I can't represent myself anymore . No one should be this sick for this long without a doctor following thru to determine the cause . Good thing I've kept all my notes .

I am proud of our hospital. Their motto they really do work by, "We treat you like family. You're one of our own." Their doctors and nurses are very attentive. My family has had a consistently positive experience here.

I went to Lowville hospital because my knee was hurting and I waited in the waiting for for an hour and a half when there was only one other person there. I was there for around 7 hours just for them to give me crutches. Also my grandfather got into a tractor trailer accidents yesterday and there was an old man sitting in the waiting room with a huge lump on the side of his head, a cut on the top of his head, and scratches/bruises all over and all they did was walk out and put a neck brace on him when he fell down 20 stairs. He only had one arm and said he was boiling up and couldn't really breathe. The hospital sucks and the nurses/ doctors never smile and are rude so I wouldn't recommend going there.

Wait time is absolutely insane. To just run simple lab work, expect to wait at least 4-5 hours, even if you are the only patient in the ER. Go to Watertown and save yourself the time. The staff at lowville are ridiculously rude. I will avoid this place at all costs.
