My mom went there almost at the end of last year..The room she was in was run down, curtains were off the railings and worst of all One afternoon My mom's room mate was out and One of the nurses came in .. greeted us announced to my mom that it was time for her pills handed my mom a small white paper cup with some pills in it and my mom took it. As mom placed the cup onto her lips and opened up her mouth to tip the cup onto her mouth to swallow the pills In an panic The nurse rushed and snatched the cup out of my mom's hands after the nurse noticed The huge sign I had printed and taped over my mom's headboard that had my mom's full name and health issues..The nurse then said "Oh no "sorry miss these aren't for you" and quickly left that was it. I texted the website to complain about this troubling incident and got a reply that the matter was being investigated.

I am very happy with my aunt's stay. She told me her experience was great. She came for therapy and stayed about a month. The staff was great and the social worker Jalisa was so helpful. She lit up the room when we met her. Nursing was great and always attended to my aunt. Overall amazing experience.

Staff bent over backwards to be helpful for me and the nurses and staff who are caring for my brother-in-law William were caring, compassionate and professional. I appreciated Robert's taking the time to discuss William's medical condition with me.

Alaris in Irvington is the worst facility I've ever been too. My mom has been there one week. You could hardly understand the nurses they have nasty attitudes. Today I walked in my mom's room notice the light that was outside her door her roommate said my mother been ringing for the last 30 minutes. I immediately went to the desk I stood out there literally 15 minutes before someone would come I confronted the nurse she said she was on break and she told the other nurse she was going on break. Where is attendant nurse? Not to be found I wish I would have recorded this conversation but I will tomorrow. My mother taking strong medicine for her cancer that's why she's up there because she can't get surgery she's there also to build up her strength and to gain some more weight. I had the supervisor come in there the other day and ask her is there any type of odor eliminator spray that they could do they going to give me some deodorant spray. However it smelt like pee, roaches crawling on the floor my mother will be out of there tomorrow because if not I will catch a case please please do not send your loved ones to this facility. I could go on and on I will report this to the Board of Health
