I went there on a referral from DC Office on Aging Seabury branch for Ward 5. It was a NIGHTMARE. Was transported from Brookland NE DC to this facility for "fun and recreation". I even bought a guitar. After long ride I was escortedc to a big room with tables, chairs and a TV. Around 50 to 75 old men and women just sat around watching TV. I didn't come all that way to sit inside so I asked to go outside. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO DO SO. I asked to leave AND WAS NOT PERMITTED. It took multiple phone calls and my numerous request made to open the LOCKED FRONT DOORS. If this is what the DISTRICT and/or FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has in store for its senior citizens.... I'll stay in my own. I already got FOOD POISONING TWICE in less than 90 DAYS from MOM'S MEALS also supplied by the DC Office on Aging Seabury office. No word on the multiple complaints and case filed with the DC Department of Health. This place even got bars on the windows. When I saw those I knew it wasn't a good sign.

Very rude. My disabled son is graduating from children school soon and I called to make a appt to see this facility as a potential school. The lady who answered the phone was rude and from that I would never send my baby here. If they can be be rude to a parent on the phone imagine how they would treat your loved one.
