OK so here's the real deal; no place is perfect and no place can certainly replace home. However, I have been in the industry for over 25 years and believe me, family owned and operated is ALWAYS better than a large corporation. The "head in the bed" mentality is not the be all, end all. Blaire House truly fosters a warm, nurturing environment for all residents in the Nursing facility, Adult Day Health & Assisted Living. It is a unique facility that always gives priority to Veterans and tries to match the person up with the best type of services. They go above & beyond to handle the most minute requests. So don't shy away. Come see for yourself

My nana sophia was made comfortable here during her last days and the staff was so warm and welcoming and remembered my entire families names. Everytime I went to visit my nana always seemed content and as comfortable as possible considering. Family owned opperated is always better!!! Even called after the service to make sure we were okay. 10/10 would recommend.

What a fantastic facility! My mother moved in to the long term unit, and the transition has been flawless. She loves the food and the support I have received from the administrative staff has been very helpful. It's a gorgeous place and looked much more upscale than other nursing homes in the area I visited.

I have worked in the Healthcare industry for over 30 years and have worked in a number of Nursing Facilities. As the Director of The Adult Day Health I have had the good fortune of dealing with the staff in the Nursing facility and Assisted Living as they have cared for members in the Day program during rehab stays, respite stays as well as outpatient rehab while attending the day program. I have always found the staff responsive and empathetic toward patients in their care as well as their families .The feedback from my members and families has been positive. I am confident in referring members for inpatient care and I am proud to be a member of this team of caring professionals

Things you learn after leaving loved ones in a facility for a while...this one is just ok. They have a few good RN's and CNA's. The weekend, the place smells like bodily fluids...so they need to work on that. Their front desk receptionist-greeter, doesn't greet you, she's too busy on her cellphone looking down. So, she couldn't describe a suspect if the place got robbed! Look up, say hello! Also, one Nurse in particular thinks she can speak to family like they work for her, she is very rude! So, stay on top of your families staff and care because, paying out of pocket is huge money, yet, the care does not match the money you pay. Glad we found a nicer place to move out family member too.
