Very helpful and kind. I've been In many hospitals and I know their jobs are hard. With my illness I go from lake forest to the Chicago hospital and everyone in both hospitals are seriously the best. Even though you sick you don't have to feel bad and their staff has me actually look forward to going back! David drew

Needed to get some tests done, I have ppo so was calling different providers to find a better deal/estimate. They told me I'd have to pay $670 based on my insurance plan. Now I have two bills that come to $1,500 total, plus there is another claim for $17,000 on my insurance account with a different claim number for the same exact thing... And when I called, the representative was extremely unhelpful and rude, and wanted to wrap up the conversation quickly. OH and the weirdest thing is that they charged $1,184.00 for the "Recovery Room" SERIOUSLY??? I didn't even have the ROOM! It was the corner of a hallway with a CURTAIN. And I've been there for LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!!! $1,184.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although the procedures I got were done well, I'd recommend a different provider. Because it seems like they gave me a low estimate just so I choose them, and now they are acting like they don't know anything. **This was done at the Grayslake location, but the claims are coming from the Lake Forest location so I assume it's the same thing

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. From the disinterested nurse who takes your vitals, to the resident doctor who answers your questions in short form and can tell she just wants to go home, nurses telling me someone else will answer the questions, and finally to no one helping me to leave the ER; I've had better service at HomeDepot. 1st I get called-in to the room for vitals: she can tell I'm in pain walking and she doesn't even offer assistance or a wheel chair: to her credit she held the door open. I had to ask for a wheel chair to the 2nd nurse later when they asked me to go into ER. Then it was too crowded, so I had to wait on the ER hallway, for almost 3 HOURS. ( they drew my blood, did an EKG, and undressed me -all in the hallway)Only when I complained they put me in a room ( and I passes-by 2 empty rooms while they put me in one)by this time, I was in the room for 5 min. before I was discharged. The resident spent less than 10 min. explaining and told me the nurses would explain. The nurses kept telling me some other nurse would explain. I got fed-up and had the resident come back, which she didn't look happy about ( found-out later that it's was the end of her shift and probably wanted to clock-out). I had to pull-off all the stickers from the EKG on my own and finally just left. Later l learned that they shouldn't have let me go on my own to drive because of the medication they had given me. No one there even explained that too me.

This is horrible. Have been waiting in ER for over 2 hours. Finally had an x-ray done, then told to get dressed again as I had to go back to the waiting area. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take me back to the waiting area...finally the x-ray tech brought me back because no one came to get me. I am still waiting...I understand that they may be busy but this is just a tad bit ridiculous.

Great hospital, all staff and doctors are the best at what they do, if you decide to have baby there, you won't regret it!
