Amazing residence for memory care needs and the staff goes above and beyond for both the family and the resident. Such a comfort knowing my Mother is cared for in such a living caring residence.

Wonderful facility! The caring staff at Somerford Place of Stockton came into my life at the perfect time. The genuine support and care helped me make one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make regarding my mother's care. The facility is always clean and well managed. My mother is well cared for and has adjusted well to her new home. Thank you Somerford Place of Stockton.

I am so impressed with everyone at Somerford Place. The management team is super-sensitive to my mother's needs. The caregivers are compassionate and loving. My mom is happier than I have seen her in a long while. I no longer worry if mom is being cared for because I am confident Somerford actually takes care of all their residents. Dementia is a terrible disease that is difficult to manage because I still work full time. Now I don't have to worry if mom is remembering to eat or go to the bathroom or a multitude of other things that she may need throughout the day. She has made new friends, plays games and even dances! Many thanks to everyone at Somerford Place! I appreciate all of you.

I had an opportunity this past week to tour this facility and meet a few staff and residents. In the short time I was there, it was obvious to me that individual care is their top priority. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, caregivers were happy and kind, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and made one feel at home. I would, without hesitation, refer a family member to the Somerford Place of Stockton.

My husband spent the last three years of his life there. I chose Somerford Place because of the homey atmosphere, the caring staff, and their activities. As the disease progressed it became more difficult for him to participate in the activities. I never found him to be over medicated. As always when you have a concern talk with the staff I found them to be responsive to my concerns Two weeks before he passed I moved him closer to home so the family and I could be near by.
