Great place to learn basics of ASL and culture for the deaf community. For both hearing and deaf. A six week course is only $20. You cannot beat it.

NorCal centers for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing provide access to different services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. They also provide services to hearing people who want to learn sign language. They have many services that are too numerous to name. Check it out if you are interested in learning sign language and do not yet know sign language. Also if you are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. I believe they also provide interpreting services. They are an awesome resource. Parents of Deaf and hard-of-hearing children should know about this place! :)

Great, reputable nonprofit organization for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired, that's been open since the 1970's!
