In South Dakota, adult day care is administered by the South Dakota Department of Social Services Division of Adult Services and Aging (ASA). The regulations for adult day care only apply to providers who have a contractual relationship with the Office of Adult Services and Aging under a special funding program. South Dakota does not require either licensure or certification of adult day care programs.
